| Oh dear...and yet another JRock fan has fallen into my midst.
I shake my head hopelessly and sigh.
Well, anyway, I'll let other people handle this. JRock is not really my territory.

| Can somebody post an example of JRock? I probably am confusing it with JPop. If so, I like JPop better. | |

| ^ it's just rock, really. there are tons of examples. "The World" and "Alumina" by Nightmare. (Death Note OP/ED) "Akatasuki" and "Chandalier" by alice nine. (Ginyuu Mokushiroku Meine Liebe wieder OP/ED) "Rewrite" (FMA) "Haruka Kanata" (Naruto) by Asian Kung-Fu Generation "READY STEADY GO" (FMA) by L'arc~en~Ciel. <--sometimes rock sometimes pop. "Innocent Sorrow" by abingdon boys school (D.Gray-Man OP) sound familiar? there's no big deal... jrock has its subgenres just like American rock. -_- i'll admit, some of them are a bit wilder, and you have that crazy visual kei movement. ask for that and you'll get anything from An Cafe to Phantasmagoria. including the first two bands I listed... >_> I resent being hopeless. but no offense taken. *used to it* >_> | |

| Oh, those? I never knew. Well, in that case, yeah: JRock is alright. But they all sound so different. Alumina really matches the Death Note series but I don't like any of the other openings or endings. Both alice nine and nightmare have just about all players looking like vampires. Kinda scary but cool at the same time. Yeah, it's like you said: wild. | |

| be careful, obsessions aren't healthy. O.o
alice nine is easy on the eyes compared to other visual bands. and nightmare too since they've gone major. there's much scarier stuff.... XD;
visual kei is good because of its unpredictability and variability. but it's definitely acquired listening. and viewing... but keep an open mind. the sound and dress are impossible to predict based on each other. be wary of music videos. *indies-Diru trauma*
@Christina: gee, they're just recording in NY. no clue why... but I'd die/freak/laugh to see Ruki and his bird-nest-hair and scarecrow-mummy-ninja outfit running around to promote the new album... i'll show you a picture if you didn't get that. XD | |

| @agnes. OH YEA! lol, their new look is sorta.....too overused. I liked their old look better. I mean, a lotta jrockers have that bird nest hair thingy xDDD i HEARTED the diru-indies era !!!! That was sooo awesome hm....i dunno, i think i'm a big fan of the more intense version of visual kei. I'm just kinky like that xDDD (and no, not in THAT sense!!! o.o) | |
