I like any kind of music so long as its not:
obnoxious, loud and unmeaningful. Or music that is really annoying to the ears.

mmm almost the same as lawrence's respone. i like most music and i don't mind loud music. i listen to jpop and anything that's on the radio

Yeah, I listen to almost anything, except for rap sort of cuz it's pointless most of the time. I do like some random rock ones, like FAR AWAY 4EVER! and One last Breath. Some songs I just find amusing like Sexy Back and My Humps, but they are not my favorites. Other than that, not a lot of Japanese ones, except for Colors by Utada Hikaru which roxs

some rap songs are okay...depends
i listen to rock too. (like linkin park and fall out boy)
and i listen to anything on the radio
hmm not sure if i heard colors before. i like passion and exodus by utada hikaru though. the vid for passion is really nice.

oo bass~ I think strong bass lines are a really standout aspect of J-Rock. <3 unless.. I haven't been exposed to enough western music. too much rap to listen to radio. there been a decent bass solo on the radio lately? *listens* maybe I just have hearing problem.. @_@
