I never read the manga (never seen it nor got my hands on it), but I agree with you about the game and anime. I wonder what would've been wrong about following the game's storyline in the anime? I mean, they totally warped the anime into some generic...slush. Even if they just followed the game's storyline through exactly, it would've been better.

Plus, the original comedy died in the anime. sad

PostSubject: I'll explain why the manga sucked   Penguin EmptySat Oct 21, 2006 5:29 pm

The Art Wasn't all that great but what's worse was that the actual story was only the length of 1 volume and it sucked. I could say more but that would just spoil it for you if you want to find how off it was from the anime

Note: I Did Not play the first Disgaea game i'm just assuming that manga's storyline does not stay with the game's story line.

Answer This Question: In The First DisGaea Game Did It Say Mid Boss Was Laharls Son reincarnated?

I can not spell big words sad sad2

The game didn't say MidBoss was Laharl's father outright, but it is what you would normally assume.

When you beat the game and get the good ending (there are multiple endings), there's a scene where Midboss comes in and starts talking...well, the way he talks is all serous and wise and not crazy, and goofy like always. Then, the ghost of Laharl's mother materializes next to Midboss, and then after some more talking and a dramatic "Farewell!". Midboss floats away together with Laharl's mother's ghost.

This was pretty much a lot of spoiler, but I tried to cut some key things anyway.

Anyway, I do think Midboss is Laharl's reincarnated father. But we may never know for sure.

PS: Its okay. Grammer, retyping, etc. I do it too.

But you know...there's an EDIT button on the top right of your post...so you know...you can edit it.
