Happy Holidays

nya! Merry X-mas!! hope everyone has a wonderful break (even though most of us are probably loaded with hw and studying to do) time to catch up on sleep! yays~

Over this break, please plan out a rough two page doujinshi(fan comic of any existing manga/anime) so that when we come back, you can draw it on nice, thick manga paper, which I will be handing out.

On another note, I know using Prisma markers may be a little intimidating for some of you(for fear of messing up and having no handy 'undo' button) but please try using them! =] Plus, they should work better on the manga paper since manga paper is thicker than normal paper and so, would bleed less. If you're brave enough to try the markers, I suggest you guys first color over a pic that you wouldn't mind messing up.

doujinshi? I wonder what that is? Just a fan comic?

yes, just a fan comic. or a comic with characters from a certain manga/anime/game rewritten with your own story. characters you create that fit into the world/life of a certain manga/anime/game also counts as a doujinshi. i figured this would be easier than making an original comic since this way, you wouldn't have to spend a lot of time designing your own characters.

If curious about doujinshi check out the anime Comic Party and Comic Party Revolution, those two talk specifically about doujinshi.

Yea, I feel the same as Han, do we have to? If not I gotta start now cuz I spent like half my break away playing all day. Sports, outisde, family and games.

You played sports? I just blew half of the break playing Zelda Twilight Princess. I love it! Im half way through. Up to the snow dungeon.

And come on Lawrence. Have some confidence in yourself! I have no idea on how to use these markers so relax. Everyone's starts somewhere.

Yeah, I second this question...thoough I sort of think we can, but better to be safe. I wanna make a Disgaea fanmic (my invented word for fan comic).
