Yin's Art Thread 2006-2007

Using lots of colors is a good thing isn't it? I mean...it's more masterful to be really good at using more colors in a picture than just a few...right?

That's what I think anyway.

nice job coloring! especially the eyes
um the chin and mouth isn't aligned with the eyes and nose >< either his right eye should be lower, or his chin be moved a bit to the left of the pic(and have the cheek protrude a tad more)

Update again. "Hajimete" (Begin)

I drew it on my shiny new sketch pad using my shiny new pencil, erased with my shiny new eraser, and colored with shiny new colored pencils. Yeah, I bought so many new art supplies during vacation, it's not even funny.

And somehow I managed to lose my shiny new 0.1 Copic lining pen! Waaah~

Those are really nice wings and feathers. I wish I knew how to do that as well. I guess its all about observation and practice. Good job with the 08/20 one!

Yeah, I'm starting to get what you guys mean with the tablet and the whole odd feeling. It kinda hurts my hands sometimes.
Of course, I've only had my tablet since like...March-ish...or something. I'm sure there's lots more stuff to learn or get used to by practicing.

By the way, I've made a new original art thread for my pics this year; that way this thread won't get all crowded...and it'll be a pain to keep scrolling down and stuff for all my pics...and stuff.


So guys...this thread shall now be semi-dead. I'll come back once in a while to view old pics perhaps.
